Originally from Norway, Emil’s career began with a Masters degree in Business and Corporate Social Responsibility from BI Norwegian Business School. He then spent over 20 years in the Tech industry, working with systems for improving people’s everyday life, concentrating on smart city, public transport and logistics.
In 2015 Emil was introduced to the textile industry when he became CEO of Tailor Konfektion AB in Borås, the Textile capital of Sweden. As CEO, CCO and Business Developer for some of the big producers of Corporate Wear he was involved in high quantity traditional production and sourcing of workwear in the Middle and Far East.
Emil founded Reparell as a mission to bring sustainability into the industry based on the belief that the industry can improve; that every aspect of textile production from the raw material becoming a thread, to the knitting and weaving mills and finally to cutting and making can be done more intelligently and more sustainably.
